I still have the same issue even though I thought it was resolved as the camera started working properly for a short while. I am sorry for bringing up an old post but I thought I'd try my luck.
Combining a Novatek chipset and 16MP Sony sensor, the Git2 supports up to 2880 x 2160 resolution video at 24 fps, 1080p up to 60 fps, and 720p up to 120 fps, in addition to 16MP. Any idea what might be causing it? I haven't dropped the camera, haven't used it in the rain and to be honest it hasn't even seen that much use since I got it. The Git2 Action Standard Pack from GitUp goes where the action takes you, letting you record all of your extreme sports, outdoor adventures, and daily activities. When I switched on the camera today the screen wasn't working again, after a while it became very faint and it started working after I plugged the camera to the PC. As I had to record some footage I put the camera inside the case and when I removed it the screen was fine again and working as normal.
Use your phone to take your shots, start and stop recording, and easily adjust settings. After a while I noticed that the screen was actually working but it was super faint. With GitUp APP, is easy to control your GitUp action cameras and get full remote control of all camera functions. I removed the battery, restarted the cam a few times, plugged in to the PC and nothing changed.
The buttons were responding as normal and the recording was fine but the screen was totally black. My screen on a Git2 stopped working a about a week or so ago. I am not sure what is going but maybe someone around here has experienced a similar issue.
